Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh has made some serious allegations against state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh in a letter written to the Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

Meanwhile, former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh has made serious allegations against Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. In a letter addressed to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Parambir Singh revealed that Anil Deshmukh used to ask for Rs 100 crore every month. He further revealed In the letter that Anil Deshmukh had ordered the arrested Mumbai police officer Sachin Vaze to collect the money for him every month.
“Anil Deshmukh had called Sachin Vaze multiple times and asked him to collect the targetted Rs 100 crore every month for him,” wrote Param Bir Singh.
The ex-cop also wrote how Anil would ask Sachin Vaze to charge the restaurants in Mumbai 2 to 3 lakh rupees per month in order to collect the Rs 100 crore.
BJP asks for Anil Deshmukh’s resignation and narco test
Amid the latest developments, former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has demanded Anil Deshmukh’s resignation over the entire development. Fadnavis said, “This is perhaps the first such case in Maharashtra when a senior police officer has written a letter to the CM making such a serious allegation, in such a way, these revelations of Parambir Singh are more explosive than gelatin sticks. Therefore, with the immediate removal of Deshmukh, there should be an impartial inquiry into the entire matter.”
Another BJP MP Manoj Kotak said,” This government is a government of extortion, the letter finally revealed the truth. Therefore, all three of them -Deshmukh, Parambir Singh, and Sachin Vaze- should go through the narco test to reveal who is speaking the truth.
