The Congress is all set to bring a no-confidence motion in Haryana against the incumbent Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar today.
Bhupinder Singh Hooda, former CM and current leader of the opposition, had made clear his intention to also call other adjournment motions along with it.
The BJP government seems to have the required majority in the legislative assembly and has issued whips for their MLAs to be present in the assembly. The JJP, which has a coalition with the BJP, has also issued whips asking their MLAs to be present and vote in favor of the Manohar Lal Khattar government.
This No Confidence Motion in Haryana Will Show Which MLA Supports The Farmers : Bhupinder Singh Hooda
While speaking to the media the leader of the opposition, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, ensured to bring many adjournments and calling-attention motion against the Manohar Lal Khattar government alongside the no-confidence motion Haryana.
He also promised to demand answers from the government regarding the Minimum Support Price (MSP) guarantee bill and the negligence shown against the farmers’ issues.
“The Congress demands to know the reasons behind the growing unemployment, changes in domicile regulations, growing crime rate, the recent paper leaks controversy, and the liquor and registry scams”, the opposition leader told the media
“The no-confidence motion will reveal to the public which MLA really supports our farmers and which MLA don’t,” Hooda said
“Haryana and India had seen the way this government neglected the issues of the farmers and this BJP and JJP coalition government will go down in the history as the biggest anti-farmer government in the country”, Hooda further elaborated.
BJP, JJP, and The Congress Have Issued Whips For Their MLAs To Be Present For The No Confidence Motion Haryana
The opposition in Haryana had placed their request to rise the no-confidence motion Haryana against the BJP and JJP led government before the assembly speaker and the speaker Gian Gupta finally fixed the date for the no-confidence motion last week.
When the set was set for the no-confidence motion. All parties have issued whips asking their MLAs to be in attendance on the day of the motion.
The Bharatiya Janata Party alongside with Jananayak Janta Party asked their legislators to support the Manohar Lal Khattar and vote in favor of him. While the Congress and all the opposition parties have asked their legislators to vote against the BJP and JJP led government.
