Police have arrested 2 main accused in the case of robbery of around 1.25 crore of jewelers in Chaumun police station area of Jaipur 7 days ago. Police recovered a pistol and cartridge-filled magazine from them. The police are currently looking for 3 more people. Police claim that the looted gold and cash are with the absconding accused. The police said that the robbers made the Jewelers Reiki for a week continuously before committing the incident. For this, the robbers enlisted the help of a local man, who is absconding.
The conspiracy was hatched by two people
Additional Commissioner Ajaypal Lamba said that the conspiracy for this entire incident was hatched by Sikar Jat (30) resident Sikar and Shashank Pandey (25) resident Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh). These two and their companions also took some cash by selling the looted gold. The cache has not yet been recovered. The police have arrested both these miscreants from the towns of Fatehpur and Laxmangarh in Sikar. 3 others involved in the incident are being searched. Police said Sumer Jat, who was arrested, has been involved in drug trafficking, assault, and robbery. Shashank is an interstate criminal. A case of robbery of lakhs of rupees has been registered against him by firing in Ambala, Haryana. In this case, he is still absconding.
The robbery took place 6 days ago
On April 11, a robbery took place at Arjun Soni’s shop in Chaumoon in broad daylight. 5 crooks riding on 2 bikes came armed with weapons. He intimidated Arjun and his nephew with a gun and tied his hands and feet and carried out the robbery. During this, the robbers robbed 12.22 lakh rupees from the shop and about 500 grams of gold kept there.
